With 45 upper schoolers and 14 seventh graders, the cast for All Shook Up, the winter musical, will be the biggest cast in Mr. Mark Femias seven years as director for Country Day theater productions. Setting another record, 18 upper school boys tried out for various parts. Their talent will be showcased in several vocally demanding roles such Chad, Jim, and Dennis, which will be taken on by seniors Ishan Ghildyal, Reid Gaede, Brian McSwiggen, Carson Aquino, and Douglas Tallmadge. The addition of strong baritone and tenor sections also promises to create choral numbers that the King of Pop would be proud of. It is certain that such a large, dynamic cast will bring something special to this years musical. And, as Mr. Femia expressed in his first email to the actors with such a huge cast, we will have a great time working together over the next couple months.
