Hi everybody, and welcome to the 2023-2024 Scroll! I am so excited to see what this year has in store for us.

As this is the first issue, I would like to give a few introductions to the team this year.

I’m Brina, your Editor in Chief.

As for our page editors, we have Erica Peterson (’26) as our Arts Editor, Shiva Shyam (’26) and Jasmine Machmouchi (’25) as our Global and Cultural Editors, Ali Zimmerman (’26) as our News Editor, and Fleur Helmantel (’24) as our Sports Editor. This team is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to work with them this year.

As you all, if you have any interest in writing, you are more than welcome to. This year we are especially looking for more creative works from you. If you write a poem in English class and want to share it, please send it in! If you want to write an article about something you are passionate about, please do! This is the school’s newspaper, which includes all of you.

As a reminder, our meetings are during lunch on Tuesdays in the library. Feel free to stop by and listen in. We want to hear your opinions.
