The girls’ basketball team currently sits at a 14-3 record and a 7-2 conference record with big wins over Summit, Norwood, and Roger Bacon.  With four games remaining in the season and a big game at Purcell Marian, the girls also look to go 4-0 in those games to finish with an 18-3 record on the year.  In their recent matchup at Summit, Gracie Barnes had 16 points which put her over 1,000 points scored in her high school basketball career.  The team also picked up a huge 13-point win at Summit to even out the series this season.  The girls team also had their senior night game against Roger Bacon on Wednesday January, 25th recognizing senior, Gracie Barnes, who is averaging 16 PPG on 41.2% from the field.

So far this season, the CCD boys’ basketball team is 8-9 with five games remaining on the schedule.  Although the team is currently sitting below .500, five games have been decided by 5 points or less, including recent games at Summit and CHCA.  They are second in the conference with a 7-2 conference record, including wins over Seven Hills, MVCA (twice), and Lockland.  In their most recent matchups, they beat St. Bernard by 29 at home and barely fell to CHCA by two points with an 18-point performance from Joe Gibson.  In their five remaining games, they look to improve to 13-8 and 10-2 in the conference with a big game on Friday at Seven Hills.
