This November, the 25th to be exact, Netflix will be debuting another one of its brilliant original series – Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Divided into four 90- minute episodes, the mini- series will cover a complete year in the lives of the Gilmores. Nearly seven years after the classic 2000’s show came to an end, the cast came together to finish the show last time. Now, if you binge-watched the show just like I did, I’m sure you love it as much as I do, and know everyone in and everything about Gilmore Girls. And if you haven’t watched the show… Well, you should. I highly suggest watching it on Netflix, along with the revival when it comes out. For those of you out there who haven’t had the joy of watching Gilmore Girls, I’ve come up with a little Gilmore Girls 101 for the show and upcoming revival.
The Top 6 Things You Need to Know Before Watching Gilmore Girls:
1. The show follows the life of a mom who got pregnant at 16, Lorelai Gilmore, and her daughter, Rory, 16 years after Rory is born.
2. You will inevitably want to live in their town, Stars Hollow, and wish that you knew everyone who lives there.
3. Although two characters, Paris Geller and Emily Gilmore, tend to be a little mean, you won’t be able to help but love them.
4. You’re going to wish you had your very own Luke’s Diner, or just Luke himself.
5. There will be dispute over Rory’s many boyfriends among you and your friends.
6. You will cry.
So on November 25th, get your take-out from AL’s Pancake World and your big cup of coffee, and watch the Gilmore Girls reunion.
