Roll the dough, toss the pizza, spread the sauce, and top it off with pepperoni and cheese. It’s ready for the oven. But wait… instead of putting it into the oven as is, roll it into a log; now the pizza is surrounded by a warm layer of baked bread. This delicious combination of pepperoni, cheese, and bread, aptly named “Pepperoni Bread”, is sure to be a hit appetizer at any seasonal party.

Pepperoni Bread Recipe
Split homemade dough in half, as the recipe makes 2 loaves. Sprinkle flour on flat surface and roll out dough into a large pizza circle. Make sure the dough isn’t too thick. The circle should be big enough so that 20 slices of pepperoni placed side by side fill the entire circle.
Once the dough is rolled out, begin placing pepperoni slices (side by side, not overlapping) all around. Leave about one inch of space around the entire edge of the dough before placing your first slice of pepperoni. Continue placing pepperoni around the dough until it is completely filled in.
Now add 10 slices of provolone cheese on top of the pepperoni slices, again making sure you leave about 1 inch of dough exposed around the edge of the circle.
Starting at one side of the dough, begin rolling it up like a log roll. Don’t roll too tightly, as it needs a little air to breath while baking. Pinch the edges closed on the ends of the rolled loaf.
Brush both sides lightly with olive oil and then place on baking sheet. Pierce the top side of each loaf to allow air to flow while baking.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes (until golden brown).
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Slice and enjoy!!
