Everyone remembers their prom dress. From romantic, graceful gowns to edgy cocktail dresses, what you wear represents your personality. This years prom was no exception.
The seniors this year bypassed the traditional prom glitz for a more sophisticated
look. Many girls went for a simple V-necked number in bright red or royal blue. The minimalism of their gowns allowed other aspects such as hair and makeup to magnify their natural elegance. Avery Maier, Prom Queen, in her stunning red dress is a perfect example of how the seniors balanced class and glamour. Others like Laura Pariot and Sara Fitzgerald went for a classic take on the new cutout fad paired with bold accessories.
The juniors opted for dresses in rich tones accented with sparkles or small patterns. Jessica Hall looked fabulous in her beige frock, while Evelyn Nkooyooyo rocked a magenta one-shoulder.
The sophomore girls chose casual spring-like dresses in pastel hues. Mia Fatuzzo wore a navy piece embellished with multi-colored roses that embodied the floral theme popular with the lowerclassmen. Grace Krammer transitioned flawlessly into spring with her white dress accented with brown accessories that completed her natural, bohemian look.
The freshmen arrived in bright, sparkly ensembles that transformed the dance floor into a fireworks show. Chloe Williams looked gorgeous in her blue wrap dress that shone in the night, while others such as Lauren Pendery kept it simple and chic in a white frock accented with a black border.
Picking a prom dress that you truly love is an art. Some lucky girls pull off the first thing they try on while others have to dig around the racks to find something that fits their personal taste. But whether you fit in with the latest trend or pull off a classic style, what matters is that you end the year in a dress that makes you feel confident and special.
