As CCDS expanded technological development under Director of Technology Joseph Hofmeister, it continued to be at the forefront of high schools in Cincinnati. Under the leadership of such distinguished faculty as Mr. Lee Pattison, Mr. Tony Strauss, and new Middle School Head Richard Schwab, CCDS students challenged themselves to reach new heights of academic, athletic, and artistic achievement.
Even in the 1980s, students struggled with the junior paper and senioritis.
Mr. Schwab leapt for joy because the new Middle School building was completed.
