At Cincinnati Country Day School, our students have a long history of high achievement on the national language exams. The National French Contest, Le Grand Concours, is sponsored annually by the American Association of Teachers of French. This year, in the Upper School, Cincinnati Country Day School received four gold, fourteen silver and three bronze. The following students will be recognized as Lauréat national for scoring nationally. In French Level 2: Gold medals for Daniel Nesbitt, Lorae Stojanovic; Silver medals for Megan Jarrell, Ruth Kramer, Thomas Mactaggart and a Bronze medal for Emily Ray. National winners in French Level 3: Gold medal for Cameron Stewart; Silver medals for Moya Ly, Christina Agostino, Maggie Bernish, Abby Bryant, Kaylin Hoffman, Joe Lou, Hailey Spaeth and Zach Stacy. National winners in French Level 4 are: Gold medal for Soham Basu; Silver medals for Nathan Grant and Max Luebbers; Bronze medals for Addison Bell. National winners in French Level 5 are: Silver medal for Elizabeth Miller and Bronze medal for Claire Beyette.

Every year students across the nation compete on the National Spanish Exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. This year in the Upper School students earned a total of ten gold medals, twenty-two silver medals, and eighteen bronze medals in the Ohio Buckeye Chapter. Spanish Level 2: Gold medals for Kaitlyn Hardesty, Izzy Hensley, Elizabeth Keller, Mickey Masterson and Madeleine Morales. Silver Medals for Sachi Bhati, John Blang, Alex Chantilas, Ben Chow, Lenora Croley, Max DelBello, Noah Michalski, Deidre Mohan, Adam Peng, and John Pettengill: and Bronze Medals for Sarah Jarrell, Jenna Macrae, Emmy Morgan and Jack Tereck. In Spanish Level 3: Gold Medals for Nicholas Krammer, and Grace Pettengill. Silver Medals for Taylor Boggs, Natalie Choo, Grace Krammer, Kunal Minhas, Royal Thurman, Vincent DiFrancesco . Bronze medals for Heman Duplechan, Sissi Fei, Katherine Jameson, Sidd Jejurikar, Ben Paff, Gusty Pohlman, Chase Tholke, JC Vogt and J’Quaan Waite. In Spanish Level 4: Gold Medals for Margaret Hodson and Emma Robitaille. Silver medals for Nathan Albrinck, Trisha Atluri, Mitchell Mack, Hannah Taylor and Allie Wooden. Bronze medals for Kevin Geohegan, Ian Hayes, Caroline Retzios, Ben Stegman and Alexandra Sukin. Spanish Level 5: Gold medal for Elizabeth Grace and Silver medal for Pranav Madabhushi.
