Tuesday morning, the event Morning for Moms took place in the dining terrace from 7:15 to 8:00. It was a huge success. Many students throughout the Upper, Middle, and Lower school attended with their mothers. Grace Krammer, Student Council Secretary, drove around 6:00 a.m. to get the donuts. Grace said, “We ordered over 600 donuts, a lot of the students are enjoying them and I know that personally it was so fun to spend the morning with my mom.” Multiple tables had at least two large boxes of donuts on them. Kaitlin Harden, Student Council Social Chair, also attended the event. She said, “We spent a lot of time planning this event, it was so nice to see all the little kids enjoying the morning with their moms. The event was such a success; it was heartwarming to see all the smiles on the mom’s faces.” Many students were mingling and enjoying the time that they were able to spend with their parents. Not only did this spin-off from Donuts for Dads become such a success but it also brought a lot of warmth and happiness to the Country Day community.
